Summary: NOT ReadyBoost compatible
Comment: I had read a few earlier reviews that said this flash drive is compatible with ReadyBoost. The
reviews are usually accurate so I assumed they were right but that was a mistake. This flash drive
is NOT compatible with ReadyBoost (I just confirmed with the Kingston website).

Also,
the clip seems too flimsy for a keyring. In fact it seems too flimsy even for a strap (they really
should have made it thicker and widened the opening).

Summary: Good product, good price
Comment: like a previous reviewer, I didn't want the U3 program/features (have had too many issues with it
being flaky in the past). I have had good luck with a previous small (1GB) Kingston USB stick I got
as a freebie from a conference and decided to give the larger one a shot. So far, so good.
Performs well, good price, nice amount of storage (no need for me to carry separate USB sticks
anymore, yay!), and no bloatware to have to use it.

One thing though - the packaging
says that it doesn't work with Vista SpeedBoost, but every time I plug it into a Vista machine I am
presented with the option of using it to speed up my system. Haven't click on that option yet, but
will update my review later if I try it and find that it does/doesn't work.

The only
negative I've found so far is that it doesn't have a lanyard included...but I was able to salvage a
lanyard from an old USB stick to use on this one so no big deal. But would have been very nice to
have that included. If you use a thin lanyard, you can still put the "cap" on the non-port side and
not have it interfere.

Summary: Vista ReadyBoost?
Comment: I tried three different systems and could not get ReadyBoost to work with it. All three times it
told me the performance of the device wasn't good enough to work. I tried formating it in FAT and
NTFS. As just a storage device it works great. I add songs to it and play them through my Kenwood
car stereo.

Summary: Great Little Product
Comment: I've had this product for over a year now and it still works amazingly. It has worked in several
computers because I regularly have to transport data and it has never once given me a problem. It's
so small that it takes up no space and the data is restored or backed up perfectly. This is a great
purchase. I love it.

Summary: A lot for a little
Comment: I am using this drive just to backup my system's hard drive. I was pleased with how fast I could
copy a 7.7 GB folder on to it. Now I trust that I'll be able to read it in a year or two if I ever
have a system failure. I have several other Kingston drives of this series and have never had any
trouble with them.
