Customer Rating: Summary: Very durableComment: We bought this dvd-player for my 3 year old son to keep him entertained for an 8 hour flight in spring of 2008. We got really good use out of it and even though my son handles it very rough it hasn't broken down yet. The dvd hangs once in a while but this is due to the rough handling. It takes car rides and shakes where well and the battery lasts for about 2 1/2 hours. This is not a big deal since it comes with a car adapter for longer rides. For an airplane ride I find that my kid only has an attention span of 1 hour of a movie anyway and then goes to sleep or can be entertained otherwise. The sound did not work properly it was noisy and varied with the movement of the player screen. I got this based on the good reviews, but will not get another one of this brand.
