Without it I was getting red eye, just put the flash on and red eye is gone. I was even able to take a picture of something behind glass by bouncing it slightly. I tilt this flash straight up and bounce off ceiling. Pictures come out without the ugly glare look and very even. You may think the price is expensive for just a "flash" but its well worth it.
