But then my friend tried to take a picture of us using a tripod. Everytime he wanted to change the settings he had to move the tripod and then reposition it. It took me a minute to figure out how to use it on my camera (Nikon D40) but after reading my camera manual I figured it out. FYI you turn the remote on under your shooting options, ie: single, continuous, remote duration etc...! Some people who have left reviews of this remote say they can't use it from behind their camera but I have no problem getting it to fire while I am pressing the remote button from behind my camera.
